Conclusions

The interviewees cited the same government sectors mentioned in the literature as the most related to the climate issue in the city, except the health sector, which was not mentioned. The sectors most related to climate change were Planning and Development, followed by Environment, Port Affairs, Transport, Infrastructure and Services. This shows that the governmental actors understand climate issue as intersectoral, requiring integrated actions.
