ABSTRACT
The sex plan is provisional and may need to be modified with time and experience. Our sex plan will be different depending on our circumstances and our world view. Most men in a committed relationship who have made promises of fidelity will choose not to be sexual with another person. They will put sex with other people in the 'not OK' category and sex with the partner in the 'OK' category. Men who are not in a committed relationship will have to consider more closely what they would regard as a responsible pattern of sexual behavior. The choices that we make about our sex plan will also be determined by age. In our society, there is a deeply held view that it is not appropriate to want to be sexual if we are old. There is little provision made in residential homes for the possibility of sexual behaviour.
