ABSTRACT
This chapter addresses the direct and indirect relationships of governance and project success. We look at the relationships of four governance paradigms with five success dimensions. Then we address the impact of the same governance paradigms on the relationship between a project methodology and success. We report on the research findings that explain which governance paradigms are more conducive to directly and indirectly influencing success and which success dimensions are influenced more than others by the governance paradigms, and why.
