ABSTRACT

The ¿rst step in solving problems is recognizing that you have a problem. Problems can be obvious, such as the lights not responding to the desk at all, or subtle, such as the ¿xtures not accurately hitting the same spot twice. Sometimes a ¿xture might Àicker or shake as if it has a nervous twitch. Other times the lights might seem to be running cues from a different show. Whatever the problem, you need to ¿nd the cause and repair it quickly so programming time is not lost.
