The rest of the article is organized as follows. Section 2 discusses the important theo-
ries that are important in locating the analysis. Section 3 presents the methodology and
data. Section 4 examines FDI inflows. Section 5 analyses the impact of FDI on the labour
process in the clothing industry. The article presents the conclusions in Section 6.
