ABSTRACT

The business plan is one of themost “taught” aspects ofentrepreneurship. As a work project, it provides a learning platform that forces entrepreneurship students to spell out all functional areas related to the venture. Everything from financial plans and budgets, assessments and assertions of market need, the four P’s (price, product, promotion, and placement) of marketing, key talent needs, risk assessments, competitive details, comparisons, etc., need to be included in a business plan.
