ABSTRACT
In a contemporary developed world that widely accepts the concept of the sustainable
development, a certain level of state intervention is a regular part of tourism sector (Alej-
ziak, 2000; Hall, 2008). To what extent is it successfully used to stimulate innovation? Is
public intervention able to explain the development of the Palaces and Gardens Valley
Project?
