ABSTRACT
The North Americans are always among us even when they ignore us or turn their backs on us. Their shadow covers the whole hemisphere. It is the shadow of a giant. And… this giant… is a great fellow of kind disposition, if a bit simple, who ignores his own strength and who we can fool most of the time, but whose wrath could destroy us.
