ABSTRACT
Assessment is an important part of the learning process.
It lets everyone-teachers, students, administrators, parents,
and other stakeholders-know about students’ progress
toward academic goals. Trends in course grade and other
marks of achievement tell teachers how well the course
design and their instruction is serving the students, individually
and collectively. They will then have information to make
adjustments to target student needs.
