ABSTRACT
China is so large and is parts of a world family which is in process of reconstruction and which cannot find a true goal save through closer interrelation of the parts. The West has already broken in on China with terrific effect, and that it is a plain duty to make Western contacts as Christian. The economic aspect of the contacts is seriously threatening China's welfare. The leading Chinese seek for constructive cooperation from understanding Westerners. The Chinese are included in the purpose and love of God for humanity, and that in Christ is to be found the supreme vision of that purpose and that love. One should focus on the points at which its people were in difficulty, their problems, how they faced life. For a religion which is content to be bowed out of any field of human thought or action as interference or as irrelevant can never justify its claim to be a world religion.
