ABSTRACT

The social media has changed the promotion and production of products by involving the public in the process. Consumers will go online to promote the product either positively or negatively. Technology now even allows the consumer to co-create the product with the organization. Historically the cultural industries were considered to be only the fine arts which were categorized as visual art, theatre, music, and literature. Social media has had a profound impact on consumer behavior. Social commerce refers to the change from e-commerce being the solitary activity of someone buying online to shopping online using the advice of other online shoppers. The actions of stakeholders, people who have an interest in the success or failure of the organization, can help or hinder the growth or even survival of the organization. The vision statement is useful for management of the organization to articulate their long-term strategy and how it will be achieved.
