ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses specifically on how time (temporality) and space (spatiality) impact on the world of nurses, especially in the patterns of their daily work and the spaces they undertake this work. In addition the way in which the hospital, as one of those workplaces and spaces, influences the pattern of care that is delivered to patients is considered.
