ABSTRACT

This introduction presents an overview of the key concepts discussed in the third part of this book. The third part of the book suggests that the level – complexity – risk (LCR) concept for the first time is one of many possible 'paths' offered by the human systems that are professionally engaged in individual and team games. The concept is based on a general complexity view and thus on the special principles of complex sport analytics formulated. In the model called the LCR concept of complex sport analytics L-, C- and R-factors are shown as absolutely different and have separated origins of information. But in real research and data collection and recording this is not always a state of things. Contrarily, the common feature of data and information obtained from humans is that L-, C- and R-factors are often collected by the same means and tools and expressed by the same parameters and measures.
