ABSTRACT
It is imperative before you start shooting to prepare for future delivery at industry-standard specifications. In the preproduction stage, plan on delivering your film in the highest quality standard you can afford, and never believe the old axiom: “We’ll fix it in post.” I have delivered many films, both as a filmmaker and also as the owner of a postproduction company, and the majority of problems I encounter could have been avoided by a more competent crew and production team.
