ABSTRACT
Objective ~ to limit the damaging effects of climate change by
reducing UK carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions. Over the long term the target is to reduce CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions from
all UK sources by 80% by 2050 relative to 1990 levels. Interim objectives are 28% by 2017, 34% by 2022 and 50% by 2027. See
