ABSTRACT

A native of Funing County in Jiangsu, Xiao Gang graduated from the literature department of Harbin's Helong jiang University. After graduation Xiao Gang did editorial work for the literary journal Northern Literature. Later she also worked for the Guangming Daily in Beijing. She had been an editor of Poetry Journal in Beijing. Her poems have appeared in newspapers and literary magazines since 1978. Xiao's books of poems include The Scattered Flower Petals, One Hundred Lyric Poems of Xiao Gang, and Sally Forth.
