The Recession of 2007–9

The recession of 2007–9 began in December 2007. Because the recession was in progress in June 2009 when the manuscript for this book was completed, I cite no monthly ending date to the recession. But I believe it will be designated as ending sometime in 2009, and so refer to it as the 2007–9 recession.
