ABSTRACT
In the excerpt featured in the previous chapter, Greenstein’s method of analysis essentially consisted of examining several frequency distributions for a single variable (measured in different ways). The results of such simple analysis can often be extremely helpful and interesting, especially in the early stages of theory-building.
