ABSTRACT
The strength of rights consciousness truly depends on a person character. A slave can withstand any insult with equanimity, while a noble warrior would sacrifice even his head in order to clear his name. Rights Consciousness not only concern about the duties that one should exercise toward oneself; but also concerned with the duties towards a general group. Superficial observers may think that an individual's giving up his rights is no more than that person's own misery and does not influence others; how mixed up they are. The laws of citizens who are strong in rights consciousness will be ever-improving, each day getting closer to perfection. Therefore, those who promulgate new laws are, in effect, issuing a war declaration against those people who previously had power. Out of the wrangling between progressive power and reactionary power, a great struggle arises. Thus, those who have rights consciousness must take as their most important principle for the legislative rights struggle.
