ABSTRACT

Human rights are the natural rights that come with birth. The contents of human rights were enlarged by such documents as the Petition of Right of 1628 and the Bill of Rights of 1619, among others, and their significance for human rights was equal to that of the Magna Carta. With the French and American revolutions, human rights became formally enshrined in constitutions, which is considered the most important. This tide reached every Western country, and human rights became a key part of each constitution. The goal in drafting a constitution is to limit the power of the rulers in order to protect human rights. The human rights movement began by endeavoring to limit this kind of power and to compel the rulers to recognize the subsistence rights of the ruled. The Provisional Constitution's provisions for the people's rights to freedom had very limited standards. If government officials deliberately violate the constitution, they shall be punished by life imprisonment.
