ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses the official position of the time on rights and human rights. It explains the individualism, humanitarianism, and human rights belief that were among the ideas singled out for criticism. Human rights have been violated and human dignity has been offended. This is the primary charge that the rightists make against the Party. The rightists were accused of various crimes, including having wanted to overthrow the socialist system and replace it with capitalism. Unlike the hypocrisy of the bourgeoisie, the working class proclaims the nature of human rights. The constitution of the People's Republic of China (PRC) states: The PRC is a people's democracy led by the working class and based on the workers and peasants alliance. In our country, unlike in bourgeois countries, the majority of the population comprises the ruling class. They are the workers and peasants, as well as all those classes, strata, and social groups who support, defend, and take part in socialist construction.
