Excerpt from a Student Project One possible opti on i s to consider ceasing all commercial work for the time being and focusing entirely on residenti al jobs. Commercial jobs have a much lower profit margin, and payment for work onen takes over a month to coll ect. The j obs themselves take longer to complete, bUllhe great thing about residential jobs is getting paid quickly, often before you even leave the job site. Another possible option is to consider a marketing strategy that focuses more on commercial work to generate higher profits. They could expand their area of operation and bid on jobs outside their current service area. This strategy would provide greater revenue and exposure, which in turn would give the company the chance to increase it s overall workforce.
