ABSTRACT
Mary Price uses the mandala or circle, a symbol present in the art of many cultures, as a repeating visual theme in her world history course. She uses it to identify religious traditions and discuss the religious ideas in many societies. In this lesson she gives examples of student work and provides instructions for teaching this material.
