ABSTRACT

Daniel Berman, Felicia Eppley, Ellen Pike, and Robert Rittner combine a visual-design activity with critical thinking in this lesson on nationalism. They have developed a practical approach to assessment, which can serve as a model for other evaluations. The poster project was coauthored by Daniel Berman and Timothy Miller of Fox Lane High School, Bedford Central Schools, Bedford, New York, as part of the district’s Professional Growth and Development Program.
