ABSTRACT
The haiku I wrote for you is a simple reminder that the best practice any teacher can pass on is reflection. There is no other way to be an effective teacher. The reader of this essay will witness and evaluate what needs to change or what should remain the same in my instruction based on what works and what does not, aided by student reflections. All best practices are relative to a student population and are subject to change eventually as many variables in education change.
