ABSTRACT

Once research data have been collected, tabulated, and analyzed, the researcher must then organize the information and choose a structure for presenting the findings of the study and the his or her conclusions. There are many different ways to do this. One way is to use chronological organization. A second approach is to move from the general to the specific or from the specific to the general. The researcher could use the points in the definition of the study question or the research hypotheses as a discussion structure. This could mean starting a paragraph with a point or a hypothesis, then using material from the literature to show how the point is applied in practice. Many other approaches are also possible; your research objectives will help determine the method you decide to follow.
