ABSTRACT
We were still in Calcutta at the end of February 1923 when it was announced that Rabindranath Tagore would be coming with his students from Santiniketan to stage basantotsab. The “Spring Festival,” an enchanting programme of song and dance, would be a benefit performance for the North Bengal Flood Relief Fund.
