ABSTRACT
The LZ 129 Hindenburg was one ofseveral great passenger-carryingairships built between World War I and World War II. It was destroyed on May 6, 1937, while approaching its mooring mast at Lakehurst, New Jersey, after a flight from Frankfurt, Germany.
