ABSTRACT

This chapter examines ethics management in “action” in three cities (Tampa, Chicago, and New York City); four counties (Palm Beach County, Florida; King County, Washington; Salt Lake County, Utah; and Cook County, Illinois); and two consolidated governments (the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas; and Jacksonville-Duval County, Florida). These cities and counties were chosen because of their variation in ethics management styles, practices, and innovativeness.
