ABSTRACT
In the twenty-first century, the Ukrainian Cemetery in South Bound Brook, New Jersey, has become a mecca for Ukrainian Americans, particularly on the first Sunday following Orthodox Easter, a traditional day for commemorating the dead. The cemetery is also home to the Memorial Church of Saint Andrew, dedicated to the Ukrainians killed and churches destroyed by the Soviet Union.
