Ra had many names. They were inscribed on temples and obelisks throughout Egypt. But he had one name that no one knew. It was the source of all his power and he kept it secret. Isis, goddess of magic, was determined to learn Ra’s secret name and become as powerful as he was. She knew he would never tell her willingly.
