ABSTRACT
This chapter provides scholars' guide to the primary and secondary sources produced by and about Christian enterprises and individuals in China, especially missions and missionary activity, and preserved in hundreds of repositories at Collegeville in Minnesota. Comments on the origin of the collection, biographical information on the subject of the collection, or other miscellaneous details concerning the collection are noted. Description of the items in each collection is organized by the broad type of material as indicated by the category headings, generally in the following sequence: subject, volume and dates, and any distinguishing features. The chapter also includes updated contact information, with e-mail contacts and internet addresses for immediate contact and research, and the indices have been revised as well. It discusses on the original tapes and written transcripts of the oral history interviews which are held by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
