Virtual tours are excellent vehicles for bringing primary source materials into the classroom, and museums and historical sites that are adding more virtual tours to their Web sites. Google Earth files can also be incorporated into the literature classroom, and Google Lit Trips is an excellent place to start. An online scavenger hunt can be used to introduce students to excellent Web sites while also introducing them to useful information about a curriculum topic. Teachers will appreciate a teacher's guide that provides opportunities for guided-inquiry activities. Students can examine historic images and artifacts in great deal thanks to the technology tools available at the site.
