Teachers can give students templates for entries into the research journal, and they need to modify the template for their own researching style and copy it for each source. Google is currently the Web's most popular search engine, and the primary research tool for most students. As a medium of data storage, nothing surpasses the book for durability and ease of reading. Long after CDs and DVDs have been scratched or rendered obsolete by new technology. The research and writing processes are more integrated than they have ever been before. On the one hand, this efficiency helps make up for some of the time lost searching through millions of online sources, but on the other hand it makes plagiarism far easier for students to commit, even unintentionally.
