ABSTRACT
The brief glossary below is a selective guide to Russian archiv al tenninology, emphasizing those tenns that occur most often in the present directory. Given the extensive coverage of manuscript collections, including Slavonic manuscript books, a few tenns frequently found in the names and/ or descriptions of early manuscripts, including Orthodox liturgical books, are also included.
