ABSTRACT
The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank, describes the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) as follows: Creation of the CFPB ranks among the most contentious provisions of the vast Dodd-Frank financial regulation statute. Carmakers install low rolling resistance tires on new vehicles because they have to meet federal automobile fuel economy standards.
