ABSTRACT

Garvey wrote two editorials, "Advice of the Negro to Peace Conference" and "Race Discrimination Must Go, " which he published in Negro World, November 30, 1918. In these essays Garvey defined his international perspective on the race issue and introduced his argument that the next world war will be a race war between whites, blacks, and Asians. These editorials were also printed in MG&UNIA Papers 1: 302-305.
