ABSTRACT
93There was a big earthquake in Fukui Prefecture on the evening of June 28, 1948 (the twenty-third year of the reign of the Showa Emperor). The news was in the Tokyo newspaper on the twenty-ninth. The paper said that the core of the earthquake was toward the end of the Kuzuryū River that runs through Fukui.
