ABSTRACT
The expectations of family and friends may overlap with her own but they probably know little of the inside detail. They may only see and comment on the headline issues and attempt to respond to the symptoms of a professional life without a deep or adequate level of understanding, but the expectations are real enough. The owner's interest in and expectations for the young professional's career is a specific subset of the employers' and has only come to the fore in recent times as many larger firms have gained remote ownership structures, including by corporate shareholding and investment houses. The client expectations of professionalism hinge on their user experience as well as the quality of the product provided. A team of professionals is essential for the delivery of almost every project and team members will have strong expectations of each other's professionalism.
