ABSTRACT
Barry started his career at Trident Studios in London as a tea boy. Within six months, he was running the tape copying room and mastering records within a year. He became chief mastering engineer and retained that position when the studios were bought and renamed Audio One. During this time, he mastered vinyl for Warner for the UK and Europe, with acts including Madonna, Prince, and ZZ Top. He also mastered Simply Red— Holding Back The Years and Aha!— Take On Me as well as other projects.
