ABSTRACT
The Huarochirí manuscript recounts that when the sun was extinguished at the ending of the world and as darkness descended, stones rose up against their masters.
In ancient times the sun died. Darkness lasted for fi ve days. Rocks banged against each other. Mortars and grinding stones began to eat people.
