ABSTRACT
It can be wonderfully exciting to discover new and perhaps surprising things about how the world works-that’s the fascination of research. Research can also be hard work, and there are lots of things we need to think about to avoid jumping to unjustified conclusions. A good scientist is always questioning, always skeptical, always looking for error and thinking carefully about alternative explanations.
