ABSTRACT

This chapter contains a matching game about the effects of alcohol on the human body and a true or false quiz for younger children. For older children there are activities on the risks of getting drunk and on attitudes towards alcohol. The chapter discusses the effects of alcohol on the human body. It presents a memory game which explains how to teach the effects of alcohol on the human body to children. The chapter explains the risks of getting drunk by asking children to draw a spidergram showing the risks involved in drinking too much. It explores attitudes towards alcohol and drinking by conducting group discussions with younger children that concerns one statement they strongly agree with and one statement they strongly disagree with drinking alcohol.
