ABSTRACT
Today, the phrase ethical dilemmas in standardized testing appears straightforward but dull. Less than ten years ago it would indeed have been dynamic because of its apparent contradiction: The primary ethics of testing were standardized construction of tests, standardized administration, standardized interpretation, standard report writing, and closed ling. Ethical issues had to do with deviating from these procedures, intentionally or unintentionally.
