ABSTRACT
In Chapter 2, the authors introduce a cognitive conceptualization of GAD that incorporates both the initial research that informed understanding of GAD and the more recent studies that have refined current conceptualization of the disorder. Research findings are presented in a way that will appeal to clinicians and is not overly technical.
