Learning the labour

<abstract>Chapter 7 considers the preparation and development of coaches. Consistent with much of the literature which focuses on coaches’ learning, the content is organised according to formal, non-formal and informal learning. The chapter concludes with ideas relating to the characteristics of ‘good’ coach learning initiatives.</abstract>
