ABSTRACT

This chapter presents the studies in conjunction with developing the skill of leading number talks, created a cohesive and collegial learning community that spoke the same "language" and shared the same learning journey. Today’s educators adapt to meet demands that are continuously changing and expanding, leading a shift from teaching to learning. Leaders of high-performing schools and districts know that time for reflection is a necessary component for understanding new learning. Leaders also understand the imperative of creating an atmosphere that supports collaboration among faculty and staff, a setting where learning is an essential part of each day’s work. Protect faculty and staff collaborative time and devote it to sharing knowledge and creating rich learning experiences for students.
