ABSTRACT

Creating an organizational culture is difficult. It involves bringing together diverse people with different ideas and beliefs and their own comfortable ways of doing things. It is not something a leader can accomplish overnight, but requires time and patience and, at the same time, a willingness to push people beyond their own comfort levels. George Hall’s national recognition for its high student performance and innovative teaching remains a hallmark of its work. According to Henderson and Mapp, a number of studies demonstrate the relationship between family involvement and increased student achievement. Fostering community and parent support about the direction of the school or district and the renewed emphasis on student learning requires constant communication and collaboration with stakeholders. Social media is indispensable now in business communication, and wise leaders take note of these methods of communication to facilitate conversations among stakeholders.
