ABSTRACT
The three chapters in Part V will explore dierent aspects of the investigative process. These aspects of the investigative process are important in the gathering of evidence by police, which in turn is submitted to the courts. It is, therefore, important that these methods are eective and oer reliable evidence to the court, so that the defendant gets a fair trial. In this chapter we will explore the rst of these investigative processes – eyewitness testimony.
