They say that the answer in life is always no, unless you ask. Asking can be hard because it requires the very opposite of what this book is about. In the case of presenting your work at a portfolio review, submitting it to a jury, entering it in a competition, or otherwise getting it out there you have to establish a degree of separation between your work and yourself.
